TEAM NEWS | Squad named for first away test
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare for their maiden away voyage of the 2024/25 Championship campaign as they head to old rivals, Coventry tomorrow (KO 3pm).

One of the most historic fixtures in club history, Bedford and Coventry have faced off on 188 previous occasions since a first meeting way back 130 years ago.
Both sides head into the game following respective 45-19 victories on opening weekend, and following some high scoring thrillers in recent years, another cracker is expected in the West Midlands.
For the game, Rayer has elected to make three changes to the starting side which took to the field against Caldy at Goldington Road, including a welcome return from injury for James Fish in the front row.
The inclusion of Fyn Brown for a debut at blindside completes the forwards alterations, while Joel Matavesi is included at inside centre for the only backs switch.
