TEAM NEWS | Squad named for Ladies Day
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare to return to home Championship action against Doncaster Knights tomorrow, as Goldington Road turns pink for the highly anticipated Ladies Day (KO 3pm).

Always a special day at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club, a whole host of activation is planned to keep supporters entertained, including the highly anticipated shirt auction which follows the action on the hallowed turf.
Bedford have a proud record on Ladies Day which they will be looking to defend in front of an odyssey of pink at Goldington Road, raising vital funds for Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice, based in nearby Moggerhanger. Ahead of the 16th edition of the charitable day, Rayer sticks with the majority of the side that secured victory down at Cornish Pirates last weekend, making just three changes to the Starting XV.
All those alterations come in the forwards pack as the backline remains unchanged for the first time this season.
Joey Conway is restored to the starting side at loosehead prop, Luke Frost returns in the second row, while Joe Howard makes a first start of the season having been re-integrated from the bench in recent weeks following a lengthy injury absence.
Among the replacements, England U20s World Cup winner Craig Wright is set for his first minutes in Blue this season, while Ollie Scola is in line for a club debut.
