MATCH FOCUS | Christmas cracker against title favourites

Big Game Preview
Both sides head into the game with identical league records of five wins and one defeat, after excellent starts to the season, sitting in second and third position respectively.
Blues are unbeaten at home in the Championship, Ealing are yet to taste defeat on the road, it’s set to be another cracker in a fixture that averages just shy of 60 points in recent seasons.
Mike Rayer’s men will expect the sternest of challenges from the champions elect and need their 16th supporter out in force for our first festive fixture.

With The Burrow at the Blues and Dovecote Park Suite venues SOLD OUT, book in the CMC Marquee, with only two tables remaining, serving a sumptuous Christmas dinner this Saturday.
Food, Drink and Entertainment
Head to the ground early to avoid the queues and soak up the Yuletide atmosphere. Grab a programme from the gates and visit one of eight public bars, dotted around all corners of GR.
The newly repurposed Blues Horsebox Bar will be located between the CMC Marquee and SDC Suites, while venues such as the Rebel Bar, Scrum Bar and Former Players Bar offer a quieter and warmer option on matchday.
The mini fan village remains ever popular; with coffee unit, bar and burger hut. There are three other food outlets available; a catering unit by the main gates, Taylor’s Kitchen at the Scrum Hall serving hatch and Chicken George from The Burrow outside hatch from KO.
After the match, head to The Rebel Bar for the continuation of ‘Final Whistle’ featuring the Man of the Match interview with our matchday announcer Sam Roberts, or straight into the marquee with live music from the returning, Marc James!
What’s on the TVs
Not just the action on the hallowed turf to satisfy that sporting fix on Saturday. Games on the screens: Everton v Liverpool (12:30pm), Bristol Bears Women v Exeter Chiefs Women (3:05pm), Manchester United v Nottingham Forest (17:30 – Burrow Only).
Blues Foundation Activation
Saturday’s Guard of Honour, supported by Bellway Homes, will be formed of Bedford Junior Blues. Please give them a cheer as they step out onto the pitch to form the pre-match tunnel.
