It’s Friday Night Lights at Goldington Road this weekend as Bedford Blues prepare to battle more Premiership opposition when entertaining Bristol Bears (Gates Open 5pm; Kick Off 7:45pm).

Big Game Preview
After going toe to toe with the Premiership leaders last time out, Mike Rayer’s men will dust themselves down and go again versus Pat Lam’s in-form outfit. The Blues will be hunting a first win over Bristol since 2015/16 when the two collided in Championship Play-Off action.
The West Countrymen have made no secret of their desire to reach the knockout stages of the cup competition and after demolishing Ampthill last weekend, expect another stacked squad loaded with stars to head to Goldington Road.

With another big crowd expected, we’re putting on a show for spectators on and off the pitch! Bedford and Bristol average over 80 points per fixture, so as well as an epic contest, we plan to warm supporters up on a cold Friday night as flames welcome our boys in blue onto the pitch.
We’re hoping to have something for all ages, and that even comes on the mic and around the ground! So, get into position early and let our matchday announcers of Sam and Will Roberts guide you through the evening.

Grab a programme on arrival and head to the Rebel Bar for quieter surroundings or wander around the ground to visit some of our cabin bars, including the Mini Fan Village also containing No.7 Coffee Mobile Truck for a hot drink to warm you up.
The Scrum Bar, Former Players and CMC Marquee are operating as normal, as are our food outlets, including Chicken George serving hatch and Taylor’s Kitchen.
