Cambridge Double Header Confirmed
Bedford Blues can today confirm that the upcoming visit to Cambridge on Saturday 17th May will now see a men’s and women’s double header take place at Ellgia Fields.
Just like 12 months ago, you’ll get two matches for the price of the one, as scenes from 2024 will be replicated once more – Blues will be looking to again achieve two victories after impressive performances last time out.
A friendly between our respective women’s sides will kick-off at 12pm and precede the huge Championship battle, which takes place at the later time of 3pm.
It now becomes even more of an important date in the calendar, with the annual End of Season Dinner taking place that evening back at Goldington Road – so why not get in on all the fun and spend a full day backing Bedford’s premier sporting club.
Tickets for the main event are already on sale, with adult tickets at the reduced rate of £15 when purchased online simply by clicking here. U18s are FREE entry.
And don’t forget, it’s like London buses at the moment - you wait for one double header, and you get two in the space of a month!
Taking centre stage on Saturday 3rd May, part of the first Bank Holiday Weekend of the month, both senior sides will step out at Goldington Road for an historic day on home soil, which also hosts our Foundation Day.
Dean Adamson looks to break the club’s try scoring record when Blues host London Scottish (KO 3pm) prior to the women’s side taking on Hertfordshire County in a friendly (KO 5:45pm).
