TEAM NEWS | Squad named for Knights battle
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues look to maintain momentum with a trip to the Championship’s form side, Doncaster Knights tomorrow (KO 3pm).

Always a hotly contested encounter, which resulted in a 52 point try fest back in October, Saturday’s contest is the 43rd between the sides over a relatively short timeframe having first met back in 2005.
On a day when both the Bedford senior men’s and women’s sides travel on the road for league action, Rayer makes just the two changes to the Starting XV compared to that which took to the field at Goldington Road to see off Cornish Pirates last weekend.
Both those alterations come in the backs division as club captain, Alex Day and Alfie Garside are restored at scrum-half and on the right wing respectively.
Among the replacements, Shay Kerry is back in a competitive matchday squad for the first time since late December, having featured against The British Army last month as part of his return to play protocols from injury.
