MATCH FOCUS | Bedfordshire bragging rights at stake
Local bragging rights are at stake under the lights this Friday at Goldington Road as Bedfordshire Farmers take on Bedfordshire County (KO 7pm).

Bedfordshire Farmers will take to the field for the first time in 11 months, when they secured a 40-17 victory over Ampthill Extras. Re-forming in 2023 and running out for an annual fixture since then, they are currently unbeaten. Their line-up features many Blues supporters, local club players and even a couple of familiar surnames.
Looking to inflict a first defeat on the Farmers will be a representative county side led by Bedford Queens Vice Chairman and former Bedford Blues’ player, Tim Clarke. Composed of players from local teams spread across the county to hopefully match a similar quality to the Farmers, expect an intriguing battle to bring the curtain down at GR.

Gates open at 5pm with both The Scrum Bar and The Burrow at the Blues in operation this matchday to get your pre or post-match pint with all the usual favourites on offer.
Food will be available from The Burger & Sausage Hut near the main gates and Taylor’s Kitchen serving hatch at The Scrum Bar.

Only the Apron Seats within The M&J Group Stand will be in use on Friday evening, operated on a first come, first served basis; alongside pitch side standing room.
