Jamie Jack continues spell in Bedford

Posted: 3rd June 2025

Bedford Blues are pleased to start a final week of re-signings with further continuity confirmed in the front row as Jamie Jack commits his future for the 2025/26 campaign.

The 28-year-old has missed just one game in the past two seasons since arrival, making a highly competitive battle with Joey Conway for the loosehead jersey throughout that timeframe.

Ending the 2024/25 campaign on a real purple patch of form, including scoring his first ever tries in the Championship, Jack has made 55 appearances in total since heading to Goldington Road.

On extending his time into a third season, Jack said: “It’s been a really good season, enjoyed it, so there was no other decision in my mind other than happy to go again.

“There’s a huge hunger from within that we want to do even better next season. The league has had the same format for a while now, so the revamp is extremely exciting; repeat and improve is what we’re targeting.”

Jack surpassed 100 Championship appearances earlier this season following prior spells with Nottingham, Ampthill and Coventry.

He has plied his trade in the top tier with London Irish of the Premiership and Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship, having progressed through the Academy at Leicester Tigers.

Jack’s re-signing makes it 12 of last season’s crop to return to Goldington Road, with more to follow before the week is out.

Blues would like to thank Ismail & Ann Marie Anilmis for their continued player sponsorship ahead of the new campaign.
