Bedford Blues presents… Back to the Future
The new alternative jersey for the 2025/26 Champ Rugby campaign can now be revealed as Bedford Blues mark a significant milestone in their history.
It’s 25 years since the club was officially saved by its supporters and Bedford Blues Ltd was registered. To honour and thank those who helped keep the club alive, the surnames of all shareholders have been embossed into the background of the simple design.
A bold white body with both sleeves in our club colours of Cambridge and Oxford Blue, a return of the collar and our Blues Family sewn within, this shirt is proud to be traditional and full of heritage.
Mike Rayer’s side will wear the design for the first time in the Baker Brothers Bedfordshire Cup clash against Ampthill at Goldington Road on Saturday 20th September (KO 3pm). Buy tickets here.

Bedford Blues Chief Executive Officer, Gareth Alred said: “We are excited to share the new look and story of our alternative jersey, a traditional design marking a hugely significant time in our illustrious club history.
“Our shareholders helped save this club and helped lay the foundations for what we have built since, we certainly never forget the challenges this club faced before the millennium. We hope supporters and shareholders like the design and will enjoy watching the boys wear it in our pre-season local derby.”
Bedford Blues would again like to thank all Kit Sponsors who have supported this year's designs.
