IN FOCUS | Countdown to Ladies Day
Ladies Day celebrations return to Goldington Road on Saturday 18th October as Bedford Blues host Hartpury University looking to get back to winning ways on home soil.
A huge Champ Rugby battle, settled by a last gasp try 12 months ago, sees two of the league’s entertainers go head-to-head looking to put on a spectacle on the field befitting of the occasion.

Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice Fundraising
For the third year in succession, Blues will be raising money for Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice based in Moggerhanger. As a charity close to many people’s hearts locally, we hope to raise another significant amount with over £30,000 to date.
The CMC Marquee will definitely be worth a visit on the day, offering supporters a feast of additional treats with stalls from local Bedfordshire businesses; namely Patisserie Sheree, Floss Box Sweets, Moochimoo Clothing, Arc Crafts, Tropic (mini treatments) plus a casino table and photobooth from MJS Events.
As is tradition, pre-match all ladies can enjoy a complimentary glass of rosé, thanks to Carlsberg Britvic.
There will be a raffle, auction and bucket collection as usual, while all Eco Cup donations will also go to Sue Ryder.
Post-Match Auction
A standout moment of the day will see the return of our post-match jersey auction as Blues once again wear a special one-off design to celebrate the day in-front of an odyssey of pink.
Every jersey is up for grabs in the initial silent auction (1-23) but select jerseys will be auctioned off by MC Sam Roberts in the marquee following the match.

Additional Entertainment Details
As well as all the normal matchday activation, we will have live music all day from Mark Calder in the CMC Marquee and pink pyrotechnics will welcome the players as they run out through the Guard of Honour.
