TEAM NEWS | Squad named for Coventry trip
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare for their maiden away voyage of the 2025/26 Champ Rugby campaign as they head to Coventry tomorrow (KO 3pm).

The game sees Blues head to Butts Park Arena on the occasion of their first away game of the season for the third time in four years, as two old rivals collide looking for their first success of the campaign.
Both sides traded home victories last season so Blues will be looking to buck the trend on Saturday. A game that’s normally high scoring, Bedford v Coventry is one of the most historic fixtures in club history, having met 190 times before.
For the trip, Rayer has been forced to contend with a couple of injury concerns picked up on opening weekend against Ealing, making four changes in total to the Starting XV.
That sees first minutes of the season in blue for Fyn Brown, who celebrates his birthday on matchday, while Tommy Herman and Tui Uru also come in to the forwards pack.
George Worth’s inclusion at outside centre is the only alteration to the backs division.
Among the replacements, Monty Royston and Ilan Evans are set for first minutes of the season in Champ Rugby.
