TEAM NEWS | Squad named for Ladies Day
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare to return to home Champ Rugby action against Hartpury University tomorrow, as Goldington Road turns pink for the highly anticipated Ladies Day (KO 3pm).

Always a special day at the home of Bedford’s premier sporting club, a whole host of activation is planned to keep supporters entertained, including the ever-popular shirt auction which follows the action on the hallowed turf.
Bedford have a proud record on Ladies Day which they will be looking to defend in front of an odyssey of pink at Goldington Road, raising vital funds for Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice, based in nearby Moggerhanger. Ahead of the 17th edition of the charitable day, Rayer has made five changes to the starting XV, including handing Rafe Witheat and Archie Hosking their first Champ Rugby appearances.
James Fish, Tom Price and Michael Le Bourgeois are also in from the start to complete the alterations.
Among the replacements, there is a welcome return from injury for Joey Conway who is set to feature for the first time in the league this season.
Forwards duo Nicholas Finch and Fred Tuilagi are close to full fitness but not risked this week.
