SATURDAY | Christmas Cracker v Worcester
Bedford Blues contest their final fixture before Christmas this Saturday as second faces third in Champ Rugby when Worcester Warriors head to Goldington Road (Gates 12pm; Kick Off 3pm).

Buoyed by an impressive display on the Cornish coast last time out, Mike Rayer’s men have the chance to write a small piece of history this weekend, chasing a first league victory over Warriors.
The two sides have met on just 11 previous occasions and Blues have only ever triumphed once before, that coming in a 2010/11 British & Irish Cup Semi Final clash at GR.
It’s a battle of two form sides on Saturday with Worcester currently on a six-game winning run. They have tasted defeat twice this season, both away from home, so Blues will hope for a strong backing from their Blues Family to help them over the line.

Food & Drink
With large crowds expected to head through the turnstiles over the next six days, we’re pulling out all the stops with extra service provision for this Saturday, and even more facilities still to come for Boxing Day.
There will be seven places to get a pint thanks to an additional bar located between the CMC Marquee and SDC Suites.
Elsewhere, venues such as the Legends Bar, Scrum Bar and Former Players Bar offer a quieter and warmer option on matchday with live coverage of Ampthill v London Scottish (13:30 KO) & Bristol Bears v Harlequins (18:00 KO) available on the TVs.
There is also an increase of hot food options available to salivate those tastebuds. The Genesis Fan Zone is well worth a visit, this week seeing pulled pork rolls part of the menu, plus a toasted marshmallows stall joining the familiar No.7 Coffee House, Cabin Bar and Burger Unit.
The more familiar options of Chicken George from the Burrow serving hatch at KO, Taylor’s Kitchen at the Scrum Bar, and a burger van at the main gates are all again available.
Post-Match Entertainment
The CMC Marquee is again the place to be post-match for a chance to meet the players, soak up the Yuletide atmosphere, and listen to live music from local acoustic guitarist, Ben Kelly who performs at Goldington Road for the first time.
Elsewhere, head to the Legends Bar for the Final Whistle interview with Sam Roberts and the game’s Man of the Match, or catch the Prem Rugby on the TVs.
Blues Foundation Activation – Pre Game Spectacles
Play starts from 1pm on the back pitch as Bedford Walking Rugby Team face their Worcester counterparts, arrive early and support our latest Blues Foundation programme. At half-time, five kickers will be selected from each side for a penalty shoot out on the main pitch.
Just before kick-off, please show your appreciation for Huntingdon U11s & U9s, plus Clapham FC U11s, who compose our Bellway Homes Guard of Honour and hold the Blues Family flag.
