TEAM NEWS | Squad named for Worcester battle
Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare for their final outing before Christmas when hosting Worcester Warriors at Goldington Road tomorrow (KO 3pm).
Blues return home after the long adventure down to Cornwall last week, facing off against Worcester for the first time in more than a decade and for a second vs third battle in Champ Rugby. Read more about both sides in the official online matchday programme by clicking here.
Both sides head into the game on the back of some impressive recent results, with Blues chasing a first ever league victory over Worcester having only triumphed in cup competitions from the 11 previous meetings throughout history.
Ahead of the game, a first battle since 2015, Rayer makes three changes to his forwards pack with fixtures coming thick and fast at this time of year.
That sees the usual alterations in the front row as Joey Conway and James Fish come in to partner Oisin Heffernan, while Fyn Brown is back to take the openside jersey at the back of the scrum.
Among the replacements, England U20s international Jonny Weimann is back at Goldington Road and set for his first run out in club colours for 364 days.
