Big Game Preview
All form goes out of the window on Derby Day, with the added spice of more than just local bragging rights at stake under the lights as Play-Off spots get ever nearer.
Blues have started to turn the momentum in this fixture in recent years to take a 13-8 series lead and will need the #BluesFamily behind them again this Friday if they are to get back to winning ways at the earliest opportunity.
Mike Rayer’s men will be very wary of the threat Ampthill always pose, who themselves will be looking to turn the tables and bounce back after a heavy defeat to Worcester Warriors last time out. Line-ups to be announced at midday on Thursday.
Final Call Hospitality – CMC Marquee
With all other venues completely sold out, there’s just two tables left in the CMC Marquee to upgrade your matchday experience. Click the button below to book in.
Food & Drink
Get behind your team right from gates opening at 5pm and sample all we have to offer. There is a familiar feel this matchday with the usual seven public bars and four eateries in all corners.
The mini fan village remains the place to visit; with No.7 Coffee House located next to the Cabin Bar, our resident burger unit and this week we welcome Dessert Boss to GR!
Alternatively head inside to enjoy warm surroundings of the Legends Bar, the history of the Scrum Bar or Former Players Bar.
There are three other food outlets available, including a catering unit by the main gates, Taylor’s Kitchen at the Scrum Bar serving hatch and Chicken George from The Burrow window.
Entertainment
Local rivalries are even extended at half-time as three lucky fans of each club are selected for the Estrella Damm kicking competition. Cheer them on at the bottom end of the ground.
Post-game we welcome a new musical performer to the CMC Marquee as local R&B vocalist, Bea Casey kickstarts your weekend.
Elsewhere, the Legends Bar hosts the Final Whistle interview with the game’s Man of the Match and Sam Roberts.
Blues Foundation Activation
Friday’s Guard of Honour, supported by Bellway Homes, will be formed of students from Biddenham Upper School. Please give them a cheer as they step out onto the pitch to form the pre-match tunnel.
Don’t forget there’s multiple places to return your Eco Cups, including at the bars. Remember for every cup given back, the proceeds go to the club’s charitable arm, helping them continue the fantastic community work they provide across the county.
Club Shop
Wear your colours with pride this Derby Day! There’s something for everyone inside the Club Shop, open from its normal times of two hours before kick-off, half-time and after full-time.
Ticketing and Programmes
Friday’s fixture is the fourth and final ‘Category A’ fixture exempt from the ‘Bring A Friend For Free’ benefit so take advantage of our online discount in advance of matchday and back the boys against their closest rivals. Click here to purchase.
The Goldington Road Ticket Office remains a cashless facility, so if buying on matchday, be aware we cannot accept cash, and this is the only place to buy them.
Remember we still offer printed programmes, grab one from the Ticket Office, Shop or bars.
