Mike Rayer has named his squad as Bedford Blues prepare to contest their final Friday Night Lights fixture of the regular 25/26 Champ Rugby season, hosting London Scottish at Goldington Road tomorrow (KO 7:45pm).
After a tough defeat at Doncaster last weekend, Rayer’s charges will be more determined than ever to get back to winning ways at the earliest opportunity, looking to maintain their unbeaten home record to start 2026.
With more injuries picked up in South Yorkshire, Rayer again has to shuffle the deck somewhat with six changes across the Starting XV, two of which in the backs division and four up front.
Having featured off the bench for his first minutes of 2026 last time out, Dean Adamson is this time ready to start from the off, seeing a shuffle of the jersey numbers with George Worth back at outside centre for the first time since November. James Lennon comes in at scrum half.
There is the usual front row rotation, while Ilan Evans and Fyn Brown are also named from the off.
Among the replacements, Archie Hosking is set for his first Champ Rugby minutes of the campaign having featured for Rosslyn Park in National One over recent weeks as part of his return from long term injury.
James Fish will captain the side at Goldington Road.
