Bedford Blues are pleased to start another busy Sunday of re-signings with further continuity confirmed in the front row as Jamie Jack commits his future for the 2026/27 Elior Champ Rugby campaign.
The 29-year-old has been a near mainstay in the team, missing just five games in the past three seasons since arrival, making a highly competitive battle with Joey Conway for the loosehead jersey throughout that timeframe.
A total of 26 of those appearances came in 2025-26, for a grand total of 81 across his time at Goldington Road.
On extending his spell into a fourth season, Jack said: “Very happy to be heading into another season with the club – it’s a top place to be and matchdays at Goldington Road are getting better and better.
“This is a special group and hopefully we can build on the success of last season.
A highly experienced operator at this level, with more than 100 appearances, Jack has chipped in with a couple of crucial scores throughout his time at Goldington Road.
Jack’s re-signing, the first announced today, makes it 12 of last season’s crop to return to Goldington Road, with more to follow.
Forwards Coach, Cameron Boon said: “Anyone who's met Jamie knows just how much energy he brings to the group, and how much he cares about the club.
"He's an experienced player and an even better person to have around the team. We're delighted to have him back and I'm looking forward to seeing him bring that same energy again next season."
Blues would like to thank Oakwood Carpet Recycling for their player sponsorship this year.
