TICKETS | Now on sale for first half of Champ season
Tickets for matches up to and including New Year’s Day are now on sale as Bedford Blues prepare for an exciting 2026/27 Elior Champ Rugby season at Goldington Road.
Mike Rayer’s men have two home pre-season fixtures to contest before the league season begins in late September, hosting the Baker Brothers Cup against Cambridge (21 Aug) before welcoming PREM Rugby heavyweights Bath to town a week before the league curtain raiser (11 Sep).
Both of those pre-season outings are on Friday nights, with Goldington Road set to stage just one other fixture under the lights in the first half of the Champ season, with Blues hoping it’s a Friday 13th to remember when facing Doncaster Knights in November.
The first three scheduled home league fixtures are all on Saturdays, starting with a fixture that has been one of the highest scoring in recent seasons in Bedford – when the villagers of Chinnor make the short trip (26 Sep).
October sees two home matches, including the return of the annual Ladies Day festivities against Cornish Pirates (10th Oct; later KO of 5pm) before a Halloween showdown against Hartpury University to conclude the month.
The Donny game is the only one at home in November, before December begins with the very first Champ Rugby ‘Rivals Round; with Blues hosting Coventry (5th) in a high stakes encounter.
As announced on Monday, the Clubber TV Showcase fixture has been moved to a 4pm kick off on each respective Sunday. Blues have been chosen once in this first set of fixtures, the home game against Caldy on 20th December, an early Christmas party at GR.
