Big Game Preview

Mike Rayer’s men will be looking for an instant response following a disappointing opening weekend result on the road at Worcester.

Nick Easter’s Chinnor side will themselves be hunting for a reaction, as well as a first ever success at Bedford. The Villagers fought hard against Ealing last time out, and will again provide the sternest of tests as both sides look for a first victory of the season.

Make sure you’re in position early for kick-off as blue pyro welcomes your home side out onto the field with the players searching for an immediate impact on home soil.

Last Chance – Hospitality

There is a rare opportunity to book any of our shared hospitality venues this Saturday, including  The Burrow at the Blues. The one-course street food style menu from Chicken George and unparalleled views of the action looking up the slope aren’t to be missed.

Food and Drink

Following the launch of Thatchers Gold for the Bath fixture, there’s even more choice for the cider drinkers from this game with a special Thatchers Fusion pump installed in the CMC Marquee serving Blood Orange, Apple & Blackcurrant and Cloudy Lemon cider.

The Marquee is one of six public bars in operation on Saturday, with additional indoor venues dotted around the ground including The Scrum Bar, Legends Bar and Former Players Bar serving our full range of crowd favourites including Estrella Damm and Wainwright’s Amber.

The chalet bar can be found adjacent to the Burrow and the FK Restoration Stand, while the final bar is contained within a packed Genesis Fan Zone in the southeast corner of GR, featuring Eat Gelato Ice Cream Van and No.7 Coffee House.

There are the usual four hot food kiosks located in all corners of the ground, with Chicken George, Taylor’s Kitchen and the familiar burger kiosks.

Additional Entertainment

The CMC Marquee is again the place to spend your Saturday evening after the game with live music from highly acclaimed local artist, Rob Bartlett, while there’s the Final Whistle Man of the Match interview in the Legends Bar.

On the TVs around the ground this week: Worcester Warriors v Rotherham Titans (1pm), Bedford Blues v Chinnor (3pm), Sale Sharks v Bristol Bears (5:30pm).
