Following a loan spell at Goldington Road, Oisin Heffernan made his move permanent ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

A highly experienced operator at this level following a prior spell with Nottingham, Heffernan was named in the Championship Clubs Podcast following the 2024-25 campaign.

Representing Leinster in the formative years of his senior career, Heffernan’s performances with the Archers persuaded Northampton Saints to take him to Premiership Rugby, where he made infrequent appearances alongside an initial loan spell at Goldington Road, before making the move permanent in 2023.

He made his 50th Blues appearance in January 2025.
