Tom Litchfield signed his first full-time contract with Saints during the summer of 2020.

The centre was an ever-present for Northampton’s under-18s during the 2019/20 season, having developed within the Samuel Whitbread Academy system and played junior rugby for Bedford Blues.

“One of our most consistent performers, Tom has got good power in his game but also a lot of softer skills in his offloading ability which makes him exciting to watch,” said Saints’ Head of Academy, Mark Hopley.

“He’s someone who will do really, really well in a full-time environment.”

He joined Bedford Blues for the revised 2021 Championship season as part of the Strategic Partnership between the two Clubs.
